I decided to make the spaghetti junction but I made the lines all white because I wanted to see how the junction would look if it was a 2D design. It makes the junction have a very simplistic look which could be effective if done correctly, but I felt like it didn’t work with this design because it looks to boring and it might not be clear that it is a junction.
I made this random junction design because I wanted to experiment with the line tool to see how I could use the line tool to allow me to make junctions a lot faster and quicker while also looking very visually pleasing.
I used black outlines around the roads because it makes the design have a 3rd dimension this adds layers to the image and it also makes it a lot more obvious that the image is an intersection it also shows which roads connect to each other
I decided to experiment with the background of the spaghetti junction I used the English flag because it represents the country that the intersection is located for example this junction is located in the Uk therefor I use the flag. I decided that I didn’t like how it took away from the main theme of the design and it doesn’t work together.
